Welcome to the CIHEAM Montpellier HAL portal

The platform for depositing and providing free access to scientific publications from the CIHEAM Montpellier's Laboratoire d'Accueil Méditerranéen en Economie et Sciences Sociales.

The portal brings together the scientific output (articles, post-publications, books, book chapters, conference papers, theses, research or expert reports) of the Institute's scientific staff.

Its main objective is to promote access to the research team's publications and thus create an open scientific reference base for the community of researchers, teachers and practitioners of agricultural and food development in the Mediterranean.

The International Centre for Advanced Mediterranean Agronomic Studies (CIHEAM)

is a Mediterranean intergovernmental organisation dedicated to sustainable agriculture, food and nutritional security and the development of rural and coastal areas.

CIHEAM Montpellier

  • Sustainability and resilience of Mediterranean agro-ecosystems
  • Insertion of local agri-food chains in global value chains
  • Governance of rural territories in favour of the collaborative and reasoned development of rural areas
